In the new version of the app, we have tried to maximise the space available for text/videos by hiding the navigation bar, and moving certain elements to the new drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the screen. On some Android phones, in order to access the phone's built-in navigation, you will need to place your finger just below the active part of the screen and swipe upwards.
